A nonprofit is only as strong as the community it has supporting it and volunteers are a critical component of this community.
You can help support the organization in a multitude of different ways. Fundraising is a key component of ensuring the success of the organization and its mission. Creating awareness on various social media platforms can help inform others about gallbladder cancer and the resources available. If you have experience with WordPress, SEO, and cybersecurity you can support IT. Assisting with support groups and other organization events throughout the year is another great way to contribute.

Corporate Volunteer Opportunities
Did you know that your company may offer paid time off (PTO) to volunteer and/or corporate volunteer grants?
Volunteer Paid Time Off programs allow employees to take paid time off to volunteer for charitable or community service activities.
Corporate volunteer grants are programs where a corporation will provide a grant to a nonprofit based on the number of hours the employee volunteers. For example, at Caterpillar Inc. after Caterpillar employees volunteer for at least 10 hours in a year with an organization, the company will provide a grant to the organization. The specific grant amounts from Caterpillar Inc. are as follows:
10 Hours –> $100 Grant
20 Hours –> $200 Grant
…
100 Hours –> $1000 Grant
Microsoft currently offers their employees 24 hours PTO for volunteering and also has a matching volunteer grant program of $25 per hour for every hour volunteered.
